Three Bone Theatre exists to create quality, professional theatre for the masses. Our business philosophy stems from the Reba McEntire quote, “To succeed in life, you need three things: a wishbone, a back bone, and a funny bone.”

 

Our mission is to create a performing arts experience that is socially engaged, professionally managed, and creatively inspired.  We strive to bring the best of contemporary theatre to Charlotte.

 

Our purpose is to use the "three bone" concept as a catalyst for hope, strength, and humor.  We believe in the power of creating a stronger, enriched society through the accessibility of theatre and the arts. We enjoy doing great work with great people.

 

Three Bone Theatre was founded in August of 2012 by Carmen Bartlett and Robin Tynes and is currently in its fifth season. Three Bone Theatre Inc. is a non-profit corporation headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.  We received our 501(c)(3) non-profit status in April of 2015.
